Follow @NealNievesLefty Driesell Is Hating On Gary Williams
Its looks like Gary Williams is stirring up controversy after leaving Maryland. According to the Sporting News former Maryland coach Lefty Driesell is against putting Gary Williams name on the floor, saying it’s not fair to put any name on the court.
Bet if they asked Lefty if the could put his name on the court it would have been different.
Left let Gary Williams cook.
“This is nothing personal,” former coach Lefty Driesell told The Washington Post on Wednesday. “It’s nothing against Gary. He had a lot of good teams and won the national championship.
“But I don’t think his name — or anybody’s name — should be on the Maryland basketball court. No. 1, I am not interested in my name being on the court. I don’t think it’s fair to have any one name on Maryland’s basketball court because it’s too great a university and too great a basketball program, and (Maryland basketball coach) is too big a job to have one person’s name on the court.

It’s look like the Cameron Crazies aren’t showing up anymore. According to DukeChronicle.com the attendance is so low that Duke has started to sale the student section tickets that were once impossible to get to the general public.
“It does take a lot to go to K-Ville and wait outside, sometimes in the cold and in the rain, and then go into Cameron where you have to stand and jump up and down,” co-head line monitor Ellie Garrett said. “Students need to realize that going to Cameron is… an awesome experience.”
