UK In The Drivers Seat To Land Shabazz Muhammad ?

One person I talked to that is close to the Shabazz recruitment told me that Kentucky is making the strongest push for him right now and he felt if he had to decide today that Shabazz would pick Kentucky.

It’s still along way’s to go from now until when he decides to make an announcement, but Kentucky should be feeling real good about its chances of landing Muhammad.

Nate Britt Headed to Chapel Hill

The North Carolina Tarheels have found another point guard for their future. After bringing in Iowa’s Marcus Paige for their 2012 class, Roy Williams and company have dipped into the talented basketball city of Washington D.C. for their latest point guard commitment.

The 6’2″, 160 pound floor general marks their third straight left-handed point guard prospect, and they will be getting a gem in Britt. He currently stars for Gonzaga College High School in D.C. Last year, he averaged 13.5 points and 5.2 assists for the regional powerhouse.

He picked the Tar Heels over Maryland, Arizona, Georgetown, and Villanova. It has been no secret that he has been infatuated with Carolina, and he is looking forward to playing with Marcus Paige once he arrives on campus.

He is ranked as a consensus top 25 national player, and one of the top five point guard prospects in America.

Clemson Gets A Commitment

Clemson has landed a commitment from 2012 big man Landry Nnoko out Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL). Nnoko a 6-foot-11 big man who is a 4 star athlete. He picked Clemson over Florida, Louisville and UCF.

Here goes his scouting report via ESPN,

Nnoko is a high energy center that competes on both ends of the floor. He is a factor on the defensive end in the areas of rebounding and shot blocking. He is very raw on the offensive end but as he improves so will his grade because he plays with the effort that holds our attention throughout the game. Nnoko is still learning the game and has a long way to go but has very good upside.
