Mitch McGary Down To Six

Mitch McGary (Brewster Academy, NH) breaks his silence and has trimmed his list down to six, North Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Duke and Florida have all made it. (In no particular order).

McGary told Dave Telep of ESPN this about his list of schools,

“I stayed low in July but I talked to coaches on Facebook and stuff like that,” said McGary. “Some of the schools like Duke, North Carolina and Kentucky, they’ve got great coaches there. I like Michigan and Maryland in the rebuilding stage and they gave me good vibes. Florida’s pretty good and they do a lot of similar things with guys like me who are versatile”

The surprise with most is that the two local schools Indiana and Purdue are not on his list, especially Indiana who has done a great job with keeping the local talent at home.

With McGary its going to interesting to see who can land the big man who is currently ranked in the top 10 in the country by most major recruiting sites.
