Josh Pastner And Memphis Agree On A 5 Year Deal

Josh Pastner  is happy in Memphis and it seems Memphis is happy to have Pastner. After having his name being attached to a couple opening’s around the country (NC State, Missouri and Oklahoma) Memphis University decided it was time to give Pastner a new contract.

Reports are the contract is a new five-year deal to stay with the Tigers, no report yet on how much per year Pastner will get.

Pastner is bringing in a team that should be ranked in the top 25 preseason poll along with top player in the class of 2011 McDonald All American Adonis Thomas.

Whether or not he was ever interested in those jobs we will never know, but for Pastner and the Memphis faithful it is always good to have a little job security.

Update Pastner will get 1.7 million Per year.
