Guerrero To Oklahoma State
The recruitment of point guard Cezar Guerrero (St John Bosco, Bellflower, CA) has committed to Oklahoma state, check out the press release/email that his aau coach Dinos Trignos sent me earlier today announcing the commitment.
The nation’s top unsigned senior point guard 6’0″ Cezar Guerrero (St. John Bosco/Bellflower CA) has committed to Oklahoma State – picking the Cowboys over serious interest from Iowa (visited), Oklahoma (visited), Kansas, Miami FL, Marquette, BYU, West Virginia, Oregon State, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Virginia, LSU, Providence, Seton Hall, New Mexico State, New Mexico, TCU, Clemson, Alabama, Western Kentucky (visited) and UC-Irvine.
Guerrero averaged 28 points, 9 boards and 5 assists per game this past season for a 21-9 St. John Bosco squad that reached the 4-AA quarterfinals and shared co-MVP honors of the toughTrinity League with Mater Dei’s Xavier Johnson. Cezar’s signature senior performances included a 48 point explosion against Trinity League champ Mater Dei and 41 points (including the game winning shot) against eventual CIF 4-AA champion Orange Lutheran.
Guerrero joins one of the best forward in the country Lebryan Nash in the Cowboys 2011 recruiting class.
